THE ATLANTIC
The Atlantic Ocean is the second-biggest ocean in the world and amounts a fifth of the earth's surface. In the North the Atlantic borders on the Arctic, in the South on the Antarctic, in the West on America and in the East on Europe, Africa and the Indian Sea. Important straits: The strait of Gibraltar to the Mediterranean Sea and the Panama Canal to the Pacific Ocean.

THE BALTIC SEA
The Baltic Sea is an inland sea, which is nearly completely surrounded with land. The Baltic Sea has a very low salt content. In the North it borders on the swedish and finnish national borders, in the East on Saint Petersburg, in the South on Poland and in the West on the city of Flensburg (Germany). The Baltic Sea is perfect for sailing because of its good winds.
